The Brief
Athene Life Ltd partnered with 7 South Productions to capture and showcase the Athene Youth Kickstart Cup — a youth football tournament designed to celebrate sportsmanship, skill development, and community engagement across Bermuda.
The goal was to document more than just gameplay. Athene wanted content that reflected the energy of youth sport, the family-friendly atmosphere, and the broader community impact of the tournament — while creating engaging video assets that could live beyond the event itself.
The production needed to feel authentic, energetic, and people-driven, aligning with Athene’s commitment to youth development and positive community initiatives.
Production
7 South Productions delivered multi-day event coverage across the tournament weekend, focusing on both competitive play and the surrounding community experience.
Working from a detailed production plan and shot list, the team captured:
- Match highlights across multiple youth age groups
- Emotional moments between players, coaches, and families
- Crowd reactions and supporter energy
- Community elements including activations and sideline interactions
A lean but agile crew allowed us to move quickly between matches while maintaining visual consistency and storytelling continuity throughout the tournament.
By combining dynamic handheld coverage with controlled cinematic shots, we ensured the final content felt fast-paced, immersive, and true to the spirit of the event.

Athene received a suite of high-energy visual assets, including:
- Short-form highlight videos for social media and web
- A full tournament recap capturing the scale and atmosphere of the event
